“We know that God is everywhere; but certainly we feel His presence most when His works are on the grandest scale spread before us; and it is in the unclouded night-sky, where His worlds wheel their silent course, that we read clearest His infinitude, His omnipotence, His omnipresence.”

what a beautiful spot to wonder about creation!
Yes, humbling and awe inspiring!
It is such a great post full of wisdom and beauty! Thank you for sharing! Blessings, Manuela. <3 <3
So kind of you, Manuela! The Finger Lake Region is “gorgeous” most certainly! Blessings, Lori💞
Oh I love that place!!!! Thanks for the reminders!!!❤
Perfect Tonya! It is such a beautiful place to visit! Glad you have enjoyed being there as well!
Magnificent! 🙂 🙂 Don’t we have the most beautiful world? I agree with so many of the quotes but the ne that resonates today is about the cheerfulness being inside you. Many thanks for your visit to mine. I appreciate it.
Yes, last week I was led to share Emily Bronte’s quotes, and this week her sister Charlotte Bronte, both beautiful eloquent and deeply spiritual women, inspiration from their words needs to be kept alive! Thank you for your kindness!
Great overview of the park….we were just there last Sunday with the grandchildren and their Mom. Very crowded!!
I’m sure you took some magnificent shots while you were there?! The thing about going to these “gorgeous” parks in the Finger Lakes region is the time of day and the light, so the really outstanding photographs are at that perfect time of day, with the sky and light a certain way. We are so very blessed to have these many gifts of God’s artistic expression in our life, Michael! Blessings, Lori
Bronte’s quotes are memoriable. Watkins Glen is one of my favorite places to hike.
Diane, it was so funny about the Bronte sisters comment last night! I am able to access your blog outside of the WordPress link? Yes, We are so blessed to live in this “gorgeous” region!
Your post was so enticing I had to look it up. I haven’t been to the Finger Lakes region in years but next time I hope I can get to Watkins Glen.
Thank you! When you plan your visit, other noted points of interest would be Robert H. Treman Park, Buttermilk Falls, Taughannock Falls State Park…not to mention Cayuga and Seneca Lake, Kueka Lake, wineries…Enjoy!
I love NYC but New York State is an awesome place, I was lucky enough a couple summer’s back to take the Great Lakes Limited Train up the Hudson Valley and across the state. Wow. Just Wow.
Awesome, it is a diversified state with the Great Lakes, Finger Lakes, Adirondack Mountains, Catskills, Erie Barge Canal, Hudson River, glad you enjoyed seeing such beauty!
